DISASTER FOR DALY
WE FIND TWO MORE PICKS AFTER DALY HAS A NIGHTMARE
Our pre tournament pick for the Buick Open was John Daly. At 200/1 he was always
going to be a long shot but we did not expect him to play quite so badly. Clearly Daly still
has problems with his attitude as his score of 164 has to be one of the worst ever at the
Buick Open. Still there are two more rounds to play and money to be made.

PAUL GOYDOS SHOT THIRD ROUNDS OF 63 AND 64 IN RECENT EVENTS TO FINISH T4 AND T2

It is no surprise to see Tiger Woods as the tournament favourite after shooting a superb round of 63. He was 6 under
par through just five holes and now sits in T5 place four shots behind the leader. However with another 24 players
just two shots off Tiger Woods the best price of 11/10 does not offer any value. Instead we have found two players
currently in the pack who offer each way value.

There are always low scores at the Buick Open and a couple of players will shoot low in the third round and rocket
themselves up the leaderboard. Picking which players will go low is the difficult part. Paul Goydos could be one of
those players. After opening with a 66 he added a disappointed 70 to sit at 8 under. This is currently just three shots
outside a top 4 finish.

MATT JONES FINISHED T4 LAST YEAR IN THE BUICK OPEN AND NEEDS A GOOD FINISH

Goydos is very familiar with the course having played here on numerous occasions. His best finish came in 2003
when he finished in T6. Last year he finished T28 which included a third round 65 something he will be aiming for
today. Goydos has produced some of best golf on Saturdays in recent months. He shot a third round 64 at the
St.Jude Classic when finishing T4. Then in his next event the Travelers Championship he shot 63 on the saturday to
put himself right into contention and eventually finish T2. Another third round like those and 80/1 will look huge.

Our second pick for the weekend is Australian Matt Jones. Also at 8 under par after successive rounds of 68 Jones is
in need of a good week to improve his position on the Fed Ex standings. Having finished T4 here last year Jones will
have targeted this event as a chance to earn some valuable dollars. Twice this season he has finished in each way
positions and at 100/1 is worth a punt to play well at the weekend. It is important to place your bets at Bet365 as they
are the only bookmaker offering 1/4 the odds for a top 4 finish.
