GOLF BETTING TIPS BRIDGESTONE INVITATIONAL AFTER TWO ROUNDS

GOOSEN ON GOLDEN RUN
RETIEF GOOSEN LOOKS GOOD VALUE AT HALFWAY STAGE
Retief Goosen looks good value at 33/1 after two rounds of the Bridgestone Invitational.
He actually started the tournament at the same price and this was with the assumption
Tiger Woods was going to win the tournament comfortably. However with Woods
looking below his best Goosen can make a charge over the weekend.

Goosen at -2 par is still five shots behind the lead currently held by Padraig Harrington. After a dismal season for
Harrington it will be interesting to see how his new swing holds up under the pressure. Then there is Tim Clark who is
yet to win a PGA Tour event. It would be no surprise to see both these players struggle over the weekend which will
only play into the hands of Retief Goosen.

RETIEF GOOSEN HAS FINISHED 2 - T5 - T6 - 3 IN HIS LAST FOUR TOURNAMENTS

Retief Goosen has been hitting the ball superbly for some time now and this has been evident in his results. He lost
in a playoff in his last start at the Canadian Open, finished T5 in the Open, T6 at Loch Lomond and third in the BMW
International. There is no doubt Goosen has been struggling with his putting but the fast greens at Firestone will suit
him down to the ground. This was the case last year when Goosen finished T4 in this tournament.

THE FAST GREENS AT FIRESTONE WILL SUIT GOOSEN AND HE FINISHED T4 LAST YEAR

Playing with Tiger Woods today could be a blessing in disguise. If both players get off to a fast start they could
carry each other along and close in on the leaders. In recent events the final round has been unkind to Goosen as he
has only broken 70 twice on Sundays, however one of those rounds came in his last tournament. If Goosen can
continue to strike the ball as well as he has been then another strong finish looks inevitable.
