JIMENEZ IS A WORLD CLASS PLAYER ON TOP FORM |
The final major championship of the golfing calendar takes place this week at Hazeltine |
and all the talk is about the dominance of Tiger Woods. The world number one has yet to |
win a major this season but after his performance last week he is as short as 6/4 with |

If you don't fancy backing Tiger Woods at short odds then our best advice is to take him out of the equation. Many |
bookmakers have priced up the tournament without Woods. So if Tiger Woods wins the title and you player finishes |
second you will get a full payout. We have looked hard at this market and think the best value lies with the in form |
Spaniard Miguel Angel Jimenez. His recent form has been excellent having not finished outside the top 25 in 6 events. |

Jimenez featured strongly last week at Firestone and eventually finished T6. In recent seasons he has played some |
of his best golf in the majors. In the recent Open Championship Jimenez finished T13. Last year in America he played |
even better finishing T8 in the US Masters and T6 in the US Open. His best finish in a major came in 2002 when he |
finished T2 behind Tiger Woods in the US Open at Pebble Beach. |

He has proved he can mix it with the best players in the World and with 14 European Tour Titles he knows how to |
win. Jimenez is best price of 100/1 at Stan James to win without Tiger Woods. Stan James are offering 6 places at 1/4 |
odds for this market so in other words you are getting 25/1 that Jimenez finishes in the top 7 assuming Woods plays |
well. When you consider he finished T6 last week this bet suddenly becomes very appealing. |
