POULTER SET TO STRUGGLE
BACK AMERICANS TO BEAT POULTER IN MATCH UPS
In recent weeks Ian Poulter has been struggling with his game. This was evident at the
British Open where Poulter went into the event with high hopes having finished 2nd
twelve months earlier. However Poulter was simple awful at Turnberry shooting rounds
of 75 and 79 to miss the cut by a country mile.

Last week was a better performance by Ian Poulter where he finished T15 at the Bridgestone Invitational. However
he relied heavily on his short game as his ball striking was once again well below par. Poulter has admitted both in
interviews and on twitter how he has been struggling and with no rest ahead of the US PGA Championship Poulter
looks set to struggle once again on the longest course in Major Championship history.

Several comment left by Poulter on Twitter last week emphasize his mood. After a 2nd round 74 he simply stated ' Not
a good day today'. Then after a third round 67 where his short game was stretched to the limit he said, 'bit of a shock
today I hit it so bad on the range before I didn't think I could have shot 87 let alone 67'. With Poulter struggling back
Zach Johnson and Lucas Glover to beat him in 72 hole match ups. Both are on offer at Evens.
