GLOVER HAS PLAYED HIS BEST GOLF ON TOUGH COURSES THIS SEASON

Lucas Glover is having by far and away the best season of his career and after landing the US Open he looks set to

reach new heights. When you take a closer look at Glover's results it becomes clear he thrives on difficult courses.

His best performances have all come on tough golf course when the scoring is relatively high. The US Open is

obviously a perfect example of this but there are many others worth noting.

GLOVER WON THE US OPEN AND FINISHED 5TH IN THE US PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

Glover finished 5th at the PGA Championship at Hazeltine which has a difficulty rating of 78. He finished T3 at the

Buick Invitational (Torrey Pines - 78.1), T2 at Quail Hollow (74.9) and T5 at the AT & T National (Congressional -

75.4). The Liberty National, the host course this week has a difficulty rating of 77.9 so will suit Glover down to the

ground. Glover plays these courses so well because of his superb driving. In fact only Jonathan Byrd is rating as a

better driver out of all the players on the PGA Tour.

GLOVER IS CURRENTLY 5TH IN THE FED EX RANKINGS AND HAS REAL CHANCE OF WINNING

He drives it nearly 300 yards on average and still hits 66.61% of fairways, The rest of Glover's stats are equally

impressive. Glover has made more birdies than anyone else on the PGA Tour and is 5t th in the Scoring Average. He

comes into the playoffs with a real chance of landing the big prize, currently 5th in the race. Quite simply bookmakers

have underestimated Glover and looks well worth a bet at odds of 55/1 at Blue Square.
