GOLF BETTING TIPS BARCLAYS CLASSIC THREE BALLS

THURSDAYS THREE BALLS
PICKS FROM TODAY'S FIRST ROUND THREE BALLS
We have studied the odds for today's three ball action and have found three matches
worth investing in. Our pre tournament tip for the Barclays Classic is Lucas Glover and
he looks good value to beat Phil Mickelson and Kenny Perry in the first round. Glover is
available at a best price of 2/1 at Betfred.

MICKELSON HAS STRUGGLED SINCE HIS WIFE FELL ILL AND PERRY HAS RUN OUT OF STEAM

We have already stated how Glover plays well on tough courses and he comes into this event on excellent form
having finished 5th at the US PGA Championship. If Mickelson and Perry were at their best then this would be
a bet worth avoiding. However Mickelson has had personal problems with the illness of his wife and was well below
par at the final major. Perry seems to have run out of steam after an excellent season. In his last ten tournaments Perry
has finished in the top ten just once.

HARRINGTON IS A DIFFERENT CLASS TO HIS PLAYING PARTNERS DAY AND ESTES

Padraig Harrington has spent most of the season working on his swing and it finally appears to be coming good. But
for a few bad holes Harrington could quite easily have won both the Bridgestone Invitational and US PGA
Championship. Harrington will be keen to make a big impact in the playoffs and needs to start well as he currently lies
in 66th place. Today he plays with Jason Day and Bob Estes. No disrespect but these players are not in Harrington's
class and the 8/7 on offer at Betfair offers some value on the Irishman.

GOYA IS WELL OVER PRICED AND IS A STAR OF THE FUTURE ON THE EUROPEAN TOUR

Our final tip is from the European Tour. Tano Goya is a player we tipped just two weeks ago at 100/1 in the Moravia
Silesia Open. He was the first round leader that week but stumbled to finish T9. Gleneagles is a course which will suit
Goya's excellent ball striking. Today he plays with Garrido and Dinwiddie. Garrido has been playing well and is a real
threat but Dinwiddie has had a poor season and has missed four of his last six cuts. Bookmakers have given him too
much respect and both Goya and Garrido should be priced lower. However we are taking the 7/4 on offer for Goya.

BK Tip: L.Glover to beat P.Mickelson & K.Perry - 2/1 @ Betfred
BK Tip: E.Goya to beat I.Garrido & R.Dinwiddie - 7/4 @ Skybet
BK Tip: P.Harrington to beat J.Day & B.Estes - 8/7 @ Betfair
