The course is a big factor this week. At 7,500 it is a beast but it is still traditionally a resort course meaning scoring |
will be low. The key to success is long straight driving allowing players to attack the pin with their approach shots |
and take advantage of the par fives. Paul Casey and Danny Willet are both excellent drivers of the golf ball. |
| |
Paul Casey is already a two time winner of this event landing the title in 2009 and 2007. Last year he reached a career |
high of 3rd in the World but his season was then severely disrupted by a rib injury. Casey is now back to full fitness |
and keen to return to the form that saw him reach that lofty position in the rankings. |

|

|
|
|
|
|
|
| |
Casey made a good start to the season on the PGA Tour shooting -15 under par to finish T10 at the SBS |
Championship a fortnight ago. Of the front runners Casey is the stand out pick and looks well worth betting on at |
a best price of 16/1 at Coral. |
| |
Coral are also offering 66/1 on Danny Willet but we expect these odds to be snapped up very quickly so don't |
hesitate in getting your bet on. Willet has similar credentials to Casey and is ten years younger. He drives the ball |
long and straight and it was no surprise he performed well here last year, finishing T8. |
| |
He finished 58th in the Race to Dubai last year, a fine effort for a rookie learning the ropes. In our opinion he has the |
potential to be as successful as Paul Casey in years to come. Willett comes into this week on fine form having |
finished T4 last week in the Joburg Open. His attacking golf will be perfect for low scoring this week. |
