I’m a little tetchy today. So please factor that in whilst I moan in today’s diary post. Fear not, I’m heading out for my long run shortly and that normally does the trick. Perhaps I’m posting this a few hours too early.
Yesterday wasn’t great. I lost about £50 and the same tipsters continue to let me down. To be honest I should probably just stop following them but I want to get to 100 bets so I can post a review and give them a chance to prove they can be profitable.
I’ve got 4 or 5 tipsters ready for the scrapheap unless their results change quickly. Once I get rid of those my ROI will hopefully start to creep up again.
I’ll keep this brief. Just be wary of tipsters who only promote winners. It upsets me.
Oddschecker opened Steve Ryder’s feature today with the quote “Following a 11/8 winner yesterday, Steve Ryder is back with three selections for today’s action.”
Talk about turn a negative into a positive. Yes it’s factually correct, but it’s also true that you’d have lost money following his tips yesterday, but of course they chose not to mention that.
Twitter is the worse place for tipsters only promoting winners. It tricks us punters into believing we are missing out on profit.
It’s the same scenario with Oddschecker from yesterday. Yes they landed a winner but the day was a loss. Tipsters with integrity will tweet about that and let their followers know exactly how they are doing.
So next time you consider following a tipster, ask yourself the important question, are they misleading me and only promoting winners, or are they being honest and including the bad runs too?
Oh and tipsters, sort it out. Stop trying to mug punters off with this bullshit approach.
