This week has been a grind. I follow too many golf tipsters right now. But that will change as I discover which ones are the most profitable to be follow.
I feel like I’ve reached my limit on how many tipsters I can actually follow without it being too time consuming. I have time, quite a lot of it. For those of you in full time jobs as well looking to make some extra income your tipster capacity might be a lot lower than mine.
Currently I have a list of 36 active tipsters and have come to the conclusion that 30 is likely to be my maximum. That said some tipsters take up a lot more time than others, so that has to be factored into the equation as well.
Long term my goal is to find a core group of tipsters, perhaps 25 that I can trust and that will make me a consistent profit. I’ll then always leave room to trial new tipsters and see if they too can make the grade.
If one of those tipsters proves to be more profitable than another on my list, then it will have to be a case of out with the old, in with the new.
It seems silly to ditch a tipster that is making a profit but you can’t follow everyone, it’s just not possible.
My advice to you is to factor in how much time you have available and decide on the maximum number of tipsters you can follow.
Then work out which tipsters are likely to make you the most profit. It might be a case that you can only follow 10 tipsters. That’s fine. You might also want to allow room to always trial one or two and see if they can replace your current crop of tipsters.
Always remember that past results don’t guarantee future success. Tipsters circumstances change and I’ve seen tipsters continue to sell their paid service when their commitment has gone.
So sometimes looking beyond the overall stats and keeping a close eye on current form will help you determine which tipsters should make your list.
