To be honest when you’re profit seeking as a punter most weeks are just “Meh”. You’re unlikely to make a great deal of profit in a 7 day period and you just have to remain patient until that next big winner comes along.
Last week was one of those “Meh” weeks for me. My profit reached a peak at +120 and I’m currently sitting on +103.6 with a 4.45% ROI.
I know what you want to read about, tipsters. Which ones are worth following and which ones are worth avoiding. So I’ll give you want you want.
With the rugby World Cup in full swing let’s start with UKRB. A premium rugby tipster who has kindly given me free access to his VIP Channel, normally £22.99 a month. I’ve been hugely impressed.
Tips have been selective, but that’s always going to be the case with a sport like Rugby where markets are limited. I’ve only placed 26 bets, but 50% of those have won for a ROI of 14.06%. Tips come with plenty of reasoning, which I rarely read in truth but it just highlights the tipsters knowledge of their chosen sport.
Ben Coley continues to impress after a rocky start. I’m now showing a profit of +22.23pts and a 13.76% ROI. He was unlucky not to land a winner at the weekend, but those stats are excellent for a free tipster. I rarely match his prices but that doesn’t seem to matter. I shall continue to follow.
DSSnooker has endured a little blip but that’s always to be expected with his approach of backing outsiders. My profit still stands at +28.14pts with a 23.05% ROI.
Profit Tips who is the top ranked tipster currently on the site has now made me a 7% ROI. that’s below his hugely impressive stats but now above my 5% target and odds availability to date have been good.
Speaking of odds availability I’m now tracking how often I get the best odds each time I bet and will provide that information for the tipsters I follow. At the moment, from a very small sample size I get the same odds the tipsters post 56% of the time.
Daryl Carter is closing in on 250 bets but his ROI has now dropped to just 3.15%. I’m not really sure what to do and whether he’s worth following going forward. There’s a lot of hype with his recent move to Betfair and he makes a lot of noise on Twitter when the winners arrive, but I based all my decisions on my own stats and that’s a lot of effort placing and tracking bets for little return.
Which tipsters are costing me money I hear you ask? Well Golf Betting Club are having a bit of a mare. They’d be the first to admit this and did offer an apology to subscribers after another poor week.
Their ROI for the year is still over 10% but I’m showing a loss of -27.8pts and a ROI of -28.66%. That’s from a sample of 330 bets. This is a premium service that doesn’t come cheap so I’m grateful they’ve given me free access. The plan is to keep going until at least 500 bets and see where I stand. But at some point, if results don’t improve it would be foolish of me to keep following.
The other more recent tipster I added to my portfolio was First TD. His results over the past two seasons have been superb. Not so much at the start of this NFL season with a -6pts loss and a -54% ROI. It’s a volatile market and tipping at big prices will always have it’s variance so I’ll continue to follow although it can be a grind backing all the tips in one go at the weekend.
If you can recommend any tipsters I should be following then let me know and please continue to sign up and leave tipster reviews as that’s how this site will grow.
