Reigning champions Bayern Munich and Manchester City have been installed as equal favourites to win the 2020/21 UEFA Champions League following the draw for the group stages.
Bayern defeated Paris Saint-Germain in the final of last season’s competition to be crowned champions of Europe for a sixth time. And the Bundesliga giants will start as 4/1 favourites to repeat their success having drawn Champions League regulars Atletico Madrid of La Liga in Spain, Australia Bundesliga side RB Salzburg and Russian Premier League Lokomotiv Moscow. Atletico Madrid are 20/1 to add another chapter to their history in the tournament.
Premier League Man City fell to a surprise defeat to Lyon at the quarter-final stage but are equal 4/1 favourites this year ahead of a Group C campaign that will see them clash with Portuguese Primeria Liga FC Porto, Greek Super League side Olympiacos and France’s Ligue 1 giants Marseille.
Liverpool, who won the title two years ago and who ended their wait for Premier League success last season, are the only other team at single figure odds at 11/2. The Reds have been drawn with Dutch Eredivisie champions Ajax, Italian Serie A Atalanta and Danish Superliga champions FC Midtjylland in Group D.

PSG, last year’s beaten finalists and Ligue 1 champions, head the potential winners at double figure odds of 11/1 to go one place better than last season when edged out by Bayern in the decider. PSG have been paired with Premier League Manchester United, last year’s semi-finalists RB Leipzig of the German Bundesliga and Turkish champions Istanbul Basaksehir in Group H. Manchester United are 25/1 to go all the way and lift the trophy on their return to the UEFA Champions League.
Spanish champions Real Madrid, the record title holders with 13 European titles, and La Liga rivals Barcelona are both at 12/1 in the UEFA Champions League betting. La Liga champions Real are in Group B with Ukraine champions Shakhtar Donetsk, Italian Serie A Inter Milan and German Bundesliga Borussia Monchengladbach
Barcelona will bid to put a season of turmoil behind them, but find themselves draw in Group G along with fellow European giants and Serie A champions Juventus, who are 14/1 to win the UEFA Champions League title. The two major sides will still be expected to qualify with Ukrainians Dynamo Kiev and Hungary’s Ferencvaros in Group G with them.
Premier League Chelsea, like Atletico Madrid, are 20/1 to be crowned champions of Europe. The Blues have drawn La Liga’s Sevilla from Spain, Russian side Krasnodar and Ligue 1 Rennes of France in Group F.
Borussia Dortmund are at 25/1 to win the UEFA Championship with the Bundesliga runners-up set to face Russian champions Zenit St Petersburg, Serie A Lazio and Belgium’s Club Brugge in their Group E campaign.
