Despite all the doom and gloom coming the way of Andy Schooler I’m still keen to back some of his tips. After all he’s made a me a decent profit this season and I love some of his stats.

His focus for Betfair today is Genoa v Empoli in Seria A and I’m backing part of his double which is Liam Henderson to be carded.

The Scottish midfielder has 14 bookings in his last 45 Serie A games. That might not sound a great strike rate but it equates to odds of 3.2, much shorter than we are getting here.

He’s been booked in 4 of his last 6 matches.

The referee really sells this bet. Antonio Rapuano. 5.7 cards per game. Plus the last two times he officiated a match with Liam Henderson on the pitch, he booked him. I told you the stats were good.

Following the excellent Lewis Jones here and he makes a compelling argument for this wager. Brentford have been terrible on their travels losing 19 of their last 24 away games against Premier League opponents.

To make matters worse they are missing key defender Pinnock. Without Pinnock in the side their win rate drops from 40% to 15%.

Brighton have seen 14 of their last 15 matches feature Both Teams to Score and this bet would also have landed in 7 of Brentford’s last 8 away games.

Slightly bigger odds available if you are willing to shop around, but 7/4 widely available.
