Running a tipster competition was fun. For the most part. Settling Each Way tips wasn’t always my favourite part of the job. Trying to explain to tipsters how I’d calculated their profit when they were convinced it would be higher.
Luckily for me I had the oddschecker bet calculator at hand. If you are unsure if your each way payout is correct, head on over.
How does it work? Enter your stake, select the Each Way Option, enter the odds and click the tick box if your selection finished 1st.
Click Calculate and hey presto, Oddschecker will display your Outlay, Returns and Profit.
It works for a variety of bets as well. Trebles, accumulators, trixies, patents, yankees, Lucky 15, Canadians, Lucky 31, Heinz and Lucky 63.
For those bigger wagers you’ll need to enter the odds of each selection 1 at a time, but it’s still a great tool to double check the bookmaker has paid you the right amount (it doesn’t always happen).
