I bottled it. About 10 days I wrote about my new personal approach to gambling, the rolling accumulator. It’s not new. I know that. But it works.
On my second attempt since announcing to my gambling buddy I went on the following winning streak.
Davis Thomspon to beat Sepp Straka – £2.50 Stake
Ian White to beat Gabriel Clemens – £4.50
Cameron Young to beat Billy Horschel – £10.35
Lawrence +1.5 Legs v Burnett – £17.90
De Decker +1.5 Legs v Smith – £35
All 5 bets won and suddenly £2.50 was £75. As you can see most of the winning tips came from the darts. My source? OnTheOche. A brilliant paid service who continues to return a very good profit.
He only had one tip for Sunday. Springer +1.5 legs v Heta. Sadly my bookmaker limitations meant I couldn’t get the best price of 2.0 so I let it slide.
Instead the best tip I found was from Jimmy the Punt on Theo Hernandez to have 1+ shot for Napoli. But suddenly I lost my bottle. Can I bet £75 on a football tip from Serie A?
Right now, for me personally that’s actually quite a bit of money. I lost my bottle. I cashed in. In the process I devised a new strategy, one which I hope will see my winnings increase, the enjoyment level continue and tell me when to cash in.
I’m calling it “Connect 5”. The goal being to simply land 5 winners on the spin. When I do. I will cash in and start again, but increase the starting stake by £2.50 each time.
Thus when I do reach 5 in a row, the returns will be higher and I’m hopeful this will return a long term profit. But you know what, even if it doesn’t, I’m having great fun.
I spend 10 minutes a day reading the top tips and picking my favourite. By betting just once a day it gives me that real focus on which match to follow, I don’t spend all day obsessed with scrolling down flashscores.
