Tony G vs. Hannibal Getya – $7.75 million
Relatively recently, Antanus Guoga, better known as Tony G, smashed the record for the world’s largest cash game win in online poker. During his career, Tony G has made five WSOP final tables and has been incredibly successful playing all around the world. In total, his career earnings in live tournaments came to just over $7 million. However, the 48-year-old Lithuanian recently topped that with a massive online poker win at a crypto poker site. This cash pot was won in a three-card game against Hannibal Getya. Tony G had a 10-J-Q-K-A straight while his opponent looked for the nut flush and full house.
Patrik Antonius vs Viktor Blom – $1.375 million
Viktor Blom, better known as username Isildur1 is a Swedish high-stakes poker player who became famous in the poker boom years for making some of the biggest plays in online cash games. At the time, he was only around 20 years old and was a completely unknown anonymous player. Still, he made and lost millions in a short space of time, taking on some of the biggest players and setting records for the largest cash game pots. This one was in a game of pot limit Omaha against Patrik Antonius and was one of the games that Blom would go on to lose.
Viktor Blom vs Phil Ivey – $1.127 million
Another Blom game also took place in 2009. This game was against none other than Phil Ivey, one of the most famous pros in poker. What started with a $500/$1000 game quickly snowballed as both players aggressively raised and looked to make the other fold. Blom raised $9,000 before Ivey answered with $27,000 pre-flop, and it continued from there. Once again, this was a game of pot limit Omaha, but this time Blom had more success, getting the better of Ivey and taking more than $1 million.
Ali Imsirovic vs. Tan Xuan – $974,631
Ali Imsirovic, one of the top young pros in the game, was the winner of a fortunate river card to scoop a $974,631 pot. The limits were insanely high — $500/$1,000 with a $200 ante. Imsirovic followed his three-bet pre-flop with several raises and then got the flush on the river after Xuan went all in.
Patrik Antonius vs. Viktor Blom – $878,959
These two once again make the top ten list with another pot limit Omaha hand that went above $800,000. These two played a lot of high-stakes games against one another, so it’s hardly surprising to see them on this list so many times. On this hand, Antonius was the main aggressor, raising high before winning with a straight after Blom followed.
Wiktor Malinowski vs. Michael Addamo – $842,438
Another $800,000 pot, this one was won by Malinowski in 2020. In a high stakes game that started out with $500/$1000, the game quickly got away from Addamo, who was playing a pair of Kings against Malinowski’s pair of Aces.
Phil Ivey vs. Viktor Blom – $832,940
Blom and Ivey make the list once more with another game of pot limit Omaha. These two were playing some serious high-stakes games back in 2009, and Ivey’s online poker account is the most successful poker account of all time. In total, he has over $20 million from online games, and this was another $800,000 added to his total.
Viktor Blom vs. Phil Ivey – $827,960
Everyone suffers from bad beats sometimes, and Phil Ivey was on the receiving end here. He was winning up until the river, where a 7 of clubs gave him the win despite having a draw hand.
Viktor Blom vs. Patrik Antonius – $815,975
Blom got the better of his rival Patrik Antonius in this game, scooping a high six-figure win in a game of pot limit Omaha. Once again, he was slightly fortunate to win, but this time the luck was due to Antonius’ flush failing to materialize.
Patrik Antonius vs. Viktor Blom – $810,984
Making the list once more are these old rivals, with Antonius winning this hand of pot limit Omaha with a straight.
