Twitter has given everyone a voice. Even the complete and utter bellends of this world. Even worse, they can remain anonymous allowing them to say what they want, to whom they want, with little fear of being found out.
Don’t be a Twitter Wanker!!
I’ve been a tipster. I offered tips for over 10 years and at times I was actually pretty good. It’s not easy. Finding value and beating the odds takes a lot of hard work.
There are times when even the best value selections will lose, that’s not the fault of the tipsters, that’s sport, shit happens, deal with it, or take up a different hobby.
Don’t blame the tipster. Yes at times their selections can be made to look silly, but that’s not them missing short putts, or missing penalties.
The vast majority of tipsters are trying their best to win you money. Yes there are some on the internet that falsify results and scam punters, but if you do your research first and don’t believe everything you read, avoiding these tipsters should viable.
Gambling is emotional. Losing money feels awful. Suck it up. Don’t be impulsive and head straight for your keyboard to criticise the tipster, you just end up looking like a twat.
I am of the opinion that tipsters should track their results and display profit & loss. Yes it’s annoying when they shout about winners and hide the losers, but that’s the way it is.
If a tipster doesn’t want to track their results, so be it, don’t kick up a fuss, just don’t follow them. There are plenty of tipsters out there doing it the right way. Follow them and thank them, retweet them, spread the love.
The betting community on Twitter could be a happy place, but for the minority who feel the need to express their ignorant opinions. Don’t be that idiot!
