This post should be nothing but positive as my profit has climbed back up to 97pts. I’ve been here before though, this time if feels different.
I’m following a different core of tipsters, ones which are likely to return much more consistent results. Previously I was focusing on horse racing and golf, two more volatile sports to tip on.
The past 5 days have been a grind though, because I tested positive for Covid for the first time. To be honest I’ve not been too bad and I feel sorry for those who caught it pre vaccine. It wiped me out for a few evenings but 33 hours sleep the last 3 nights and I feel the worst is behind me.
At times over the weekend gambling has felt like a grind. When you’re following a lot of tipsters it can be relentless at times. Just when you think you’ll get a break, another flurry of tips land in your inbox.
I decided to spend much of the weekend watching the golf and my experience reminded me of an important lesson. I had pinned all my hopes on Jordan Smith with Ben Coley and Matt Vincenzi both putting their faith in the straight hitting Englishman.
Through two rounds he sat top of the leaderboard at -13 par and was the favourite heading into the weekend. I spent the most part of my weekend watching him play shit and his eagle on 10 Sunday afternoon gave me false hope he might launch a back 9 charge.
Whilst all my attention was focused on Smith and draining away what little energy I had left, it was Vincent Norrman who snuck in the back door and took the title. Another of Ben Coley’s tips.

So all that focus and negative energy I wasted on Smith was pointless. In the end I got the right result. It reminded me not to get too caught up in the outcome of your bets.
If you continue to follow the best tipsters and adopt a sensible staking plan then in the long run you’ll come out on top. But if you continue to focus on the importance of individual selections, like Mr.Smith, you’ll go insane.
That win for Norrman gets me back into profit following Coley to the tune of +9.9pts and a 6.8% ROI. Golf continues to be my nemesis though as I close in on three figures of profit again.
I’ve added a few new football tipsters to my portfolio including R10bets and AFTipster. I like their approach. There are a few tipsters who have netted me a profit who I probably won’t continue to follow. Why you ask? Well to be honest following some tipsters is no fun and a high volume approach on markets that bettin.gs don’t have in their database make the tracking a grind.
