The best football league in Finland, is not a place most people look at when they are trying to make a profit from sports betting. However, there are several reasons why you should take a look at the Scandinavian country when planning your next bet.
First of all, the Veikkausliga is not popular by any means. In Finland sure, but outside it is not. Football leagues that are less prolific often have odds that are a bit off point, and this is where you can make some great profits. If you know more than the bookmaker, you’ll have a clear advantage.
But first order of business is to open an account of course. Check out some lucrative sports betting bonuses, or tuottoisa vedonlyöntibonus as they say in Finland, on the web so you can get a great start.
Who is the favorite?
FC Inter had a great season in 2019 and Valencic and Furuholm ended up scoring24 goals in total which is more than half of FC Inters goals. However, it was not enough and KuPS ended up securing the league in front of FC Inter and FC Honka.
But which team will dominate in 2020? HJK is most winning club in Finland and after a disappointing play-off they ended up with nothing and they also ended up losing to Riga in the European play-offs. No European football is however a good thing, if you’re looking to redeem yourself in the national league.
HJK should have a very good shot of a top place and the odds will more than likely reflect that, however – they should also be considered a candidate for silverware.
Dark horse in the race?
Will it be FC Inters time to shine? They haven’t won the league since 2008, but they have been runners-up 3 times since. In 2011, 2012 and 2019. Could they get their hands on the trophy this year? The disappointment of being so close last season must still hurt and it could affect them mentally. However, if Valencic can conjure up another great season, they might have a talisman that can turn the tide for the finish team.
Another Dark horse is 2019 winner KuPS. If Lucas Rangel can get the steam going, they also have a great talisman in the Brazilian striker. Last season he only managed to score 8 goals which is not quite what is expected of him, but it was enough for him to secure the title with KuPS.
Conclusion
It will be hard to predict the champion in the coming season, but I suspect Valencic can be the difference. He is experienced in the finish league and is a proven goal-getter. If he can continue the great form, he will be an unstoppable force that will ravage any defense.
Furuholm also had a great 2019 season, so hopefully they can both continue with the same drive from last season.
