It’s one of the biggest weeks in the golfing calendar and for punters it can be a bit of a minefield with tips and advice being hurled at us from every direction.
Golf Tips Checker on Twitter does a grand job compiling all the tips and displaying the most popular selections. My only qualm with that is they probably track too many tipsters, many of whom might just be following advice of others.
I’ve been following some of the best golf tipsters for several months now and based on my results to this point there are 3 I can recommend.
I’ve placed more bets with Jamie Worsley than any other tipster to date, 316 to be precise and it’s proved fruitful with an excellent ROI of 16.5%.
Matt Vincenzi focuses purely on the PGA Tour so he doesn’t produce the same volume of tips but his results have been superb. After 86 bets I’m sitting on a ROI of 106.3%.
I would point out that Matt does recommend backing his selections on the nose (win only), but that’s not to say you can’t back them Each Way this week.
The third tipster is Mark Ledsham. He’s one of the hundreds of Twitter golf tipsters who simply posts his selections on his feed. There’s no preview, just the price, stake and EW terms.
His bio promotes impressive ROI stats, ones I’ve yet to match but I have made a 10.5% ROI after 265 bets and that’s impressive for any tipster, regardless of the sport or their approach.
⭐️Here we go guys! The final Major most tipped chart of the season, The Open Championship⭐️
These are this week's most tipped golfers as based on 5⃣3⃣0⃣+ collected tips.

There are several players that have proved very popular among the tipsters I follow this week, resulting in me backing them several times. You might want to consider betting some of your own money on these golfers.
Dustin Johnson – 4 Tips – 33/1
This would be the best result for me this week with Ben Coley, Jamie Worsley, Steve Palmer and Matt Vincenzi all fancying DJ to contend at Royal Liverpool.
I’ve also made it my Bet of the Day on Wednesday. DJ finished 6th and 8th in his last two Open Championships. He shot a course record 65 last time he played here at Royal Liverpool and his recent form on the LIV Tour has been encouraging.
Viktor Hovland – 3 Tips – 20/1
The three above mentioned tipsters have all sided with Viktor Hovland this week. He’s been in contention in 3 recent Major Championships including the Open last year.
He was superb to close out The Memorial and his strong driving could be a key asset at Royal Liverpool.
Adam Scott First Round Leader – 3 Tips – 75/1
Matt Vincenzi, Ben Coley and the Golf Betting Club have all backed Adam Scott to lead after Round 1 this week.
Scott was the First Round Leader in the 2012 Open Championship thanks to a 64. In his two previous appearances at Hoylake, Scott was inside the Top 10 after Round 1.
In his last 8 events, Scott has been inside the Top 10 on 6 occasions, two of those were Majors.
Best of luck to everyone betting on the Open Championship this week and I also wish the tipsters every success. The only people I don’t wish well are the bookmakers.
