This morning I logged into my computer and the first thing I did was start placing bets.
With the US Open on this week it’s been a busy week of golf bets. It took me close to 40 minutes this morning to place my wagers and add my bets. It got me thinking.
Just how much time am I spending placing and tracking bets?
Some days are much quieter than others so based on this mornings activities I came to the conclusion it’s probably around 60 minutes a day. It could be a little more in truth but that’s a nice round number.
So I then decided to calculate how much I’m earning for the time I’m putting in from my gambling.
To date I’ve been tracking my bets since April the 15th, so close to 2 months, 61 days in total.
Working on the assumption I’ve averaged 1 hour per day placing and tracking bets, that’s 61 hours (genius).
Then I’ve taken my total profit of 92.7 points or £920.70 and divided it by 61. That gives me an hourly wage of £15.20.
I suppose whether that is good or not depends on your current line of employment. For me it’s very good! I don’t actually have a real job right now.
Obviously there isn’t the option to work extra hours here or overtime. But I just wanted to give you some idea of how much time it takes to follow tipsters and track your bets seriously.
Be prepared to make a decent time commitment if you want to follow a similar path to me.
