I feel like I’m back on track. Yesterday was a decent day with +1.78pts of profit. I know it sounds a bit shit but my stakes are very low at the moment just to give me time to find the right tipsters without declaring bankruptcy.
With my tipster list refined it meant fewer bets, especially on the football and with that came less panic. I did a good job of ignoring the results and only settled them this morning.
I had hoped for more profit. That’s because on Monday evening my phone kept flashing up with notifications of tipsters promoting winners. Rushy landed a big winner on the Anytime Goalscorer market netting him +6.5pts profit. Great Tip.
Kris Jones & RobTheBookiesFC were also promoting winning tips. But when I checked my bets it didn’t turn out quite so well.
I was limited to 30p on the Rushy Goalscorer pick due to the bookmaker offering those odds being pricks, and one of the winners from Rob I wasn’t able to back because the odds dropped instantly.
🍾 WINNER 🍾
✅ Tom Lockyer anytime goalscorer +6.5 points
Should've had a card also like, still time 😉 https://t.co/LpYLvueN15

This is where Twitter can be deceiving. If you scroll down your timeline you’ll see a lot of “BOOOOMS” and 🔥👊🚀!! Tipsters feel the need to try shout louder than each other to gain attention.
I have this image in my head of a group of Twitter tipsters standing in the same run. Some jumping up and down waving their arms, others bellowing into a megaphone, just to try and be heard. That’s pretty much what it’s like on Twitter.
Without knowing better we can feel like we are missing out on these winners. But that’s far from the truth. A tipster might put up 5 selections for a game and then scream from the roof tops when one of them wins. The fact they’ve lost money overall is something they might choose to ignore.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not tarnishing all tipsters with the same brush. There are a lot of honest tipsters out there who share their losses as well as their winners. It’s just they are in the minority, quite a small minority.
So just be careful. Don’t trust Twitter. 90% of what goes on your timeline is misleading and just pure bullshit. Spend more time researching a tipster and making sure they will actually prove profitable.
That’s my goal. To do that work for you and offer independent reviews of tipsters. I’m happy to track a tipster on demand. If there’s someone you believe might be worth following but can’t find any stats, let me know and I’ll add them to my portfolio and give feedback after a month or two.
Oh if you are wondering who I’m following on the golf this week, here’s my list of current golf tipsters.
Ben Coley – £2.5 per point
Mark Ledsham – £1 per point
Matt Vincenzi – Stake to win £150
Jamie Worsley – £1 per point
Golf Betting Club – Stake TBC
