Bollocks! A pretty terrible weekend and my profit has crashed to +74pts. My ROI has tumbled to 7.36%.
Still had you handed that to me at the start I would have taken it. Right now I’m still searching for the best tipsters and making lots of mistakes.
In terms of tipsters I’m following the only change over the weekend is I won’t be following ProPunter anymore.
I got some insight on Twitter about his strategy. I wish ProPunter every success and hope it proves profitable for both him and his followers. But to be following a tipster with no clear staking plan or results was pretty naive on my part. I should know better.
The golf cost me dear. I had Morikawa and Hadwin on the nose. Fowler made birdie on the final hole and then again in the playoff to beat them both. A real kick in the gonads. That happens though.
Today’s tip is simply not to get carried and spend all your winnings when things are going well. My profit reached a high of +114pts about 3-4 weeks ago. I’ve since lost 40pts or £400. Had I gone out and spent those winnings I could be in a precarious position right now.
Luckily I didn’t. In fact I’ve not spent any of my winnings to date so I’m still £700 up since I started tracking. So even with this poor run of late it’s all good.
All but 1 of the golf tipsters I’m following are all showing a profit, albeit the ROI of a few are now just 4-5% so I’ll have to keep a close eye on their results in the next few weeks.
A couple of tipsters to give shout outs to for a good weekend were RobTheBookiesFC. My ROI is now 8.4% after 74 bets and I’m really confident he will continue to make me a profit.
OnTheOche has a 36.4% ROI after just 13 bets, 61.5% Win Rate and already 4.5pts profit. Another tipster I have a lot of faith in going forward.
