Tough weekend. That despite a 50/1 winner on the John Deere Classic courtesy of Jamie Worlsey.
Let’s start with Jamie. He sits aloft my tipster table due to the fact I’ve placed more bets following him than anyone else, 283 to be precise.
That has yielded an excellent 18.5% ROI. The problem being I reduced my stakes after a slow start and but for that poor judgement my profit would be even higher. Oh well. This is more about finding you guys the best tipsters and right now Jamie W is one I would recommended.
A couple of other golf tipsters have fallen into the red. Mark Ledsham, 240 bets with a -1.4% ROI. I’ll follow for one more week, post the second review and if still showing a loss I think I’ll move along.
Surprisingly I’ve now lost money following Ben Coley as well after a few bad weeks. 156 bets and a -0.1% ROI.
Steve Ryder has reached 200 bets and my ROI has dropped to -5.8%. I think I’ve probably been too loyal, especially after I found out about how his profit at oddschecker is likely to be incorrect due to their settlement of tips. I’ll stick it out to 250, and then probably look elsewhere.
DSSnooker deserves another mention. Only 35 bets in but a 60.18% ROI is amazing. Cheers buddy! I’m excited about the money I can make following his big priced snooker tips.
Early results have trickled in for MWValueBets. A lot of tips are coming my way, but it’s been a positive start with a decent profit over the weekend. Such is the small sample I won’t share any stats just yet.
I’ll repeat what I’ve said before. This venture is more about me discovering the best tipsters for you to follow, rather than me maximising my ROI.
With that in mind it’s likely I won’t make us much money as I could. But it be a tad boring if I just followed the same 15 tipsters for 6 months.
I’ve had a few recommendations which I hope to look into later today. If I deem the tipster to be shit, I won’t risk any of my own money, but thanks for sending them in.
