A bit of a struggle this week and the profit is back below 100pts. That’s obviously still very pleasing but I have been grinding hard and placing a lot of bets.
Last night after returning from a shit play at my local theatre I was online placing bets until around 11:30pm.
That does lead me on to today’s discussion which is the timing of tips. Ideally a tipster will be consistent with the time they post their selections most days.
This makes it much easier for punters and subscribers to prepare themselves to place the bets at that given time.
The more successful the tipster the harder it is to match their prices as bookmakers will quickly cut the odds. That makes it even more helpful when you know when to expect the tips.
As punters we will all have different schedules. So a tipster that is brilliant for me, might be useless for you if you’re never online at that time of day.
I was reminded about this important fact when horse racing tipster The Banker kindly gave me free access to his premium service.
The Banker has excellent stats at the time of writing this diary post. He’s just shy of 3000 tips, has made a profit of +859.22pts with a ROI of 28.78%.
You can see why I was keen to follow. But after 3 days of his kind gesture it’s become apparent this service isn’t for me. It’s nothing to do with the tips, it’s just the fact I’m not online at 9-9:30pm when the selections are posted.
I do tend to get some time after 10pm, but I’ve found by then the best prices would have gone.
If that’s a good time for you, then check out The Banker. But before you sign up to any tipster service just makes sure you’ll be available to place bets when they share their tips.
