Yes! I think it is. Golf has always been the sport that has won me the most money as a punter!
Nowadays there are probably 50+ golf tipsters you could follow on Twitter and make a profit. You have to ask the question why are there so many?
The answer is most likely, it’s the easiest sport to win on. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not easy. But with the statistics now at tipsters disposal, it does seem the they have an edge over the bookmakers.
With up to 8 tournaments priced up on any given week and over 100 players in most of those events, bookmakers are inevitably going to get prices wrong.
One of my golfing buddies was a golf trader (and still is) for one of the biggest bookmakers. He made it clear they were not actually that bothered about making money on golf.
Oak Hill, you've been great!

At the time they offered it as a service to their customers who they believed would the blow any golf winnings on football bets. Interesting.
What is does mean is that those shrewd enough to bet only on golf (if allowed) should have more success.
Whilst my sample is still very small, the stats suggest golf is the answer. I’ve made +54.4pts profit on golf so far. I’ve lost -8.5 on football. In fact horse racing is my second most popular sport, netting me just +9.8pts profit.
Even if you don’t like golf then betting on it could boost your winnings and give you the funds to blow on football, or spend on the missus.
I’d like to thank the tipsters who won me money last week. Ben Coley, Matt Vincenzi and Golf Betting Club.
