I’m feeling really positive today. I’ve made a number of refinements to my tipster list which has seen in streamlined to just 16 tipsters. I’m hoping to grow that to around 20, possibly a few more, but for now I’m happy with placing fewer bets.
As this project has progressed the quality of the tipsters I follow has improved and with that my results have settled down. My current betting stats are as follows:
Bets: 5,381
Profit: +121.2pts
ROI: 5%
That’s my goal. A long term ROI of 5% or more. I keep my stakes very low to ensure my bookmaker accounts (those that I do have left) remain open and I can continue to offer good advice on which tipsters to follow.
Ben Coley continues to shine. After a poor start I’ve now made a profit of +30.84pts with a 18.67% ROI. As that grows I’ll have to serious consider the option of increasing my stakes, but I’ll wait until I hit the 500 bets mark before making that decision.

I’ve decided to ditch a few tipsters. Daryl Carter joins the scrapheap having generated me just +0.14pts of profit after 250 tips. I’ve also decided to ditch Matt Brocklebank after a poor run. That could be a mistake with a ROI of 9.13%, but to be honest I just don’t have any interest in horse racing.
I’ve made a solid enough start following Mark O’Haire with a 6.34% ROI. The volume is high and he’s netted me +4.31pts profit.
SPTips and DSSnooker continue to shine with healthy returns. Specialist tipsters UKRB (16.19% ROI) and OnTheOche (9.64%) are two I would highly recommend and will continue to follow.
I’ve ditched First Touchdown already. I made a loss again it’s partly down to the fact I have no interest in NFL and placing a high volume of bets over the weekend just felt like a real grind. I’m sure he’ll smash the bookies as his recent results suggest.
Two I’ve decided to add are Ginger Joe and Steve Palmer. Joe received some excellent reviews when I posted his profile last week and is boasting over 1000pts of profit this season on the golf.
Steve Palmer I followed briefly before and just wanted to give him a try over a longer sample. I just really like him and golf is my favourite sport to bet on, so happy to have 5 golf tipsters in my portfolio.
In summary, the two main changes I’ve made are focusing on sports I enjoy betting on and also streamlining my tipster portfolio. Hopefully it continues to have the desired effect and the good results continue.
Thanks for reading and all the best with your betting going forward.
