From being totally lost yesterday to waking up this morning eager to find my next bet. How quickly things can change. I’m sure only a handful of you read my punters diary yesterday as I did little in the way of promotion, but it just explained my new approach of one bet a day.
I followed the advice of Jimmy the Punt and backed Hwang to score for Wolves v Burnley. When I opened up my flashscores score app to see Wolves had only scored 1, I felt deflated. I needn’t have. As Hwang was the match winner.
I had no intention of starting this approach with a £10 stake but the odds on offer we far greater than anywhere else, so a tenner it was. At odds of 13/5 it’s netted be £26 profit.
I banked the stake on this occasion and reinvested all of that profit into today’s selection. The whole £26. For some of you I’m sure that is a small stake, for me, it’s pretty big. It’s exciting. The thought that tomorrow I could be staking as much as £50 has got the punter juices flowing once more.
I’ve spent 20 minutes or so trawling the best free betting tipsters sites to find my favourite selection. We are spoilt for choice this evening with so many Premier League games to choice from.
I’ve opted to oppose Manchester City. Not something you want to make a habit of doing so but when you look at the stats for this game it looks a shrewd investment.
They travel to Villa Park where the home side have won an incredible 13 home games on the spin. Aston Villa! 13 wins in a row! What the fuck is going on?
Despite that incredible record we can get odds of around 5/4 they avoid defeat against the treble winners tonight.
City head south on a run of 3 Premier League draws in a row. That late Spurs equaliser must have left them deflated and Rodri and Grealish both picked up suspensions with their 5 yellow card of the season.
Rodri in particular will be a key absentee. He’s missed 3 matches this season and Man City lost them all. When the Spanish holding midfielder is missing, City’s goals per game conceded goes up from 0.87 to 1.14.
Still not convinced? Well last season City won just 1 of their last 8 away games against teams in the Top 9 of the Premier League. This campaign they have already lost at Arsenal and drawn at Chelsea.
This is my bet of the day as tipped by Jake Osgathorpe on SportingLife.
I won’t just talk about my betting habits here, but also the developments here at Betting Kingdom to try and keep things more interesting. Mark O’Haire who had a barrage of 5 star reviews a few months ago has received a couple of 2 star reviews.
They seem to be based over a short space of time but that’s the idea of this site, is to offer punters the freedom to express their opinions and the last two were not that impressed. I must admit, my own experience, albeit a short lived one, was similar.
I will continue to add more tipster profiles and hopefully update the rankings in the new year once I have updated stats for 2023 to add to the site.
For now let’s hope Villa get a result against the Champions and boost my pot even further.
