Not much to report yesterday. I had a lovely day off roaming the countryside and shooting down a zip wire, somewhat contrasting activities. Did I get any bets on? Of course I did, at every opportunity, albeit they were limited.
It was a losing day. A couple of points but I’m sitting on DeChambeau first round leader in the USPGA Championship, but some luck is needed there. The only player ahead of him? Eric Cole, one of the players I backed last week. Although I can’t claim that’s bad luck because I did back about 30 players last week.
Sam Ingram deserves a mention. I’ve stopped following his tips on Betting Expert and now I’m just backing his Telegram tips. When I first set up this idea earlier this year he was one of the tipsters that impressed me the most. Give him a follow.

The discussion I want to bring up today is our time as punters. Something I think tipsters need to consider a little too. I’m placing a lot of bets right now. Speed is definitely a crucial factor. I want to place and track my bets as quickly as possible.
The difference between a single with the World’s Leading Bookmaker and a double with a company like Unibet can be 2 minutes of my time. Sounds minimal but if you have two tipsters with similar results after 100 tips, one doing singles with the World’s Leading Bookmaker, one posting doubles with Unibet, you could have spent nearly 3 hours more following one of the tipsters.
In this case, even if the tipster is profitable, they might not be worth following, simply due to the time it takes to place & track the bets. How good would a stat like profit per hour be.
Time taken to track and place bets is something I will factor in to future tipster reviews as I do think it’s important. After all, we need free time to waste away our lives scrolling down Twitter & Instagram.
If you have all the time in the World then it might not be an issue, I don’t, and will certainly be trying to select tipsters which are both quick and easy to follow.
Have a great day and good luck with your gambling.
