Gambling is no fun at times. I’m on another slump. This is my third slump in a few months and it seems each time it takes me back to where I started, albeit still a very healthy profit.
That’s how gambling works. You might have spells of months at a time where you are just treading water and then suddenly wham bam thank you ma’am (not sure I’ve used this in the right context 🤣) the winners start to flow.
Again it’s all about trusting the process. Try not to lose faith in those tipsters you’ve decided to follow. By all means adjust your tipster portfolio when the time is right but it’s a pretty shitty feeling when you give up on one too early and then they start nailing winners left, right and centre.
When I started this latest project over 3 months ago I wasn’t even sure I was going to make a profit. I’ve still in the very early stages of experimenting with which tipsters will make me money.
That process will ultimately take time, perhaps even a year before I stumble on 20 or so long term profitable tipsters. Once that does my ROI will settle and I’m sure results will be a little more consistent.
Until then it’s a case of being patient.
I’ve said it before, don’t take out your frustrations on the tipsters. They are probably feeling much worse than you as they have all their subscribers breathing down their necks expecting better results.
If anything show them your support and be positive, this in turn might lift their spirits and encourage them to work even harder to turn the poor run around.
The tipsters you do want to ditch are those where you can’t match their prices or their results have been consistently poor over a sustained period of time.
As long as you started with a sensible staking plan this shouldn’t have cost you too much money.
The last two times I’ve been on a slump like this the winners have returned. There are no guarantees in gambling though but with a long term target ROI of 5%, I’m still well over that mark.
