These entries are far less exciting now my betting stats are a bit shit. A 2.95% ROI after 4,251 bets. You’re forgiven if you have little interest in my betting activity.
But what you should know is those stats are from following some of the best tipsters around. A lot of them paid tipsters who have kindly given me access to their channels.
The struggle is real folks. Don’t think you’re just gonna sign up to a service promoting 20% ROI and match that instantly. My results don’t even include sign up costs which would put a big dent in my feeble profit.
I’m not criticizing the tipsters here but just highlighting to punters how difficult it can be to beat the bookmakers.
I’ve made some mistakes along the way and I’m still confident I’ll get back up the 5% ROI in the long run which I now believe is a realistic target all punters should set.
You want to know which tipsters are winning me money and which are struggling right? Ok I’ll tell you. But always bear in mind my sample sizes are still small so I’m not making tipsters harshly, not just yet.
DSSnooker deserves a massive shout out. +23.3pts to date with a ROI of over 30% (all these are my own betting stats following the tipster). I often have to take lower prices than those offered but even so I’ve done incredibly well following his tips.
SPTips is another former Betting Kingdom tipster winning me money. I only joined a few weeks ago but I’m up +7.3pts with a 70% ROI. That’s a very small sample but he’s a tipster I’ve always followed and always vouched for. I will continue to do both.
I stopped following MWValue Bets last week due to the number of tips I was missing, plus I had lost money. Then at the weekend the outstanding bets I had all seemed to win. That took my profit to +8pts with an 8% ROI. So perhaps that was a poor decision on my part.
Profit Tips is another who’s made a fast start. I’m up +3pts with a 26.3% ROI. His long term results are very good so I’m keen to see how I progress following his tips.
Daryl Carter has turned a corner as well. He was a tipster I was ready to ditch but I’m now up +6.3pts with a 10% ROI after 183 tips. If that ROI stays there when I reach 250 bets I shall be increasing my stakes.
Golf is the sport that is killing me right now. Golf Betting Club have kindly given me free access to their premium service which isn’t cheap and it’s not gone well. 278 bets down and I’ve lost -22.28pts with a -27% ROI. Ouch. But their historical results suggest that will turn so I’m keeping the faith to 500 bets and then I will have to seriously reconsider if the stats have not improved.
Ben Coley landed an 80/1 winner on the Challenge Tour a few weeks ago but I’ve still lost money following his tips. 252 bets down with a loss of -3.4pts and a ROI of -2.5%. Given his record in recent years that’s disappointing.
I got off to a flyer following Matt Vincenzi but he’s struggling now too. Nearly all his profit has been wiped out and I’m left with a 7.8% ROI after 153 bets. His Win Only approach means I’ll need a winner quickly otherwise he’ll be in the red with Coley and GBC.
Fingers crossed my poor run on golf changes soon!
Oh and I’m back using Bettin_gs after a few days away. I spoke to the owner who seems like a great guy and he’s vowed to make continued improvements to the new update to speed up the process of tracking bets.
