I feel like with each passing week I have little to shout about right now. My ROI has dropped again from the last punters diary entry. Down to 3.04% after 6,032 bets. I sometimes question if it’s worth me betting at all.
But I’m a gambler. I always have been. Even if I stopped briefly I’d be betting again in a few weeks time and probably more carelessly than I am now. So the fact I’m up 86.5pts is still decent and that’s money I wouldn’t have had otherwise (I’ve yet to spend it).
What I really noticed this week is how my current crop of tipsters is far better suited to my own lifestyle than before. I’m currently in the process of also building a running coaching business. Check it out (www.pbrunner.co.uk).
It’s going great. Almost too good. Leaving me less time to bet. I’m out most evenings coaching so that rules out following pretty much any of the football tipsters who rely on team news for their selections. Not ideal, but not too much of an issue. After all, there are only so many tipsters one can follow.

Tuesdays and Wednesday during the day are my quietest. What tipsters come to life during that spell? Golf tipsters. So that is where I am focusing a lot of my attention.
The rest of my portfolio is made up of football tipsters who post their selections in advance of the matches happening and a few other sports, where again there is time to get my bets on without having to constantly rush.
Every punter is different. You might be the opposite to me and busy during the weekdays with work, but have free time in the evenings. So you might follow a completely different list of tipsters. That’s not to say we both can’t be profitable as punters.
That’s why it’s so important to find tipsters that suit your daily habits, otherwise it becomes very stressful and a real grind.
This Saturday (my busiest day as a running coach) I actually didn’t have that many distractions from tipsters and it felt much more calming, allowing me to focus on my work.
It’s taken me a while but I really believe my current tipster portfolio is one which is going to be profitable long term. Now I just need to remain patient and trust them.
