Stick and twist got off to the worst possible start. So no decision to be made today as it’s back to square one after a single bet. Brilliant. At least it makes my decision easier.
For this approach to work I need to do a few things, bag more winners and follow the best tipsters. To bag winners I will need to place bets at a sensible price. So I’m thinking now to create a new strategy that all my selections will be priced between 1.67-2.20.
I’m also going to trust the top tipsters more and not spend ages shopping for the Best Bet. One of the tipsters high up my “most trusted” list is Lewis Jones. He’s really impressed me with his insight on the Betfair Podcast and is having a really good tournament. +13pts of profit. That’s excellent.
A lot of the tipsters seem to be going down the “Austria fouls” route but rather frustratingly Dee doesn’t seem to be particularly aggressive and chooses not to offer odds on those markets, unless I’m just looking in the wrong place?
So I’m taking the advice of Lewis Jones and backing shots instead. He’s convinced the style of play these two countries adopt will result in a high octane encounter with plenty of shots.
💸 11/4 winner yesterday as Kounde fouls landed, tasked with Doku.
Austria v Turkey is going to be beautiful chaos, surely. How do we profit?@Betfair

I’ve opted for a slightly safer line than Lewis and backed Over 25.5 shots at 4/5. In Turkey’s last 13 competitive matches there has been an average of 29 shots. That’s a good start right?
In their final group game against the Czech Republic there were 30, and in their opener against Georgia a mere 37. Wowzers.
Austria’s group game against Poland easily passed this line with 30 shots on goal. So that’s my approach and fingers crossed I’ll be asking that question, stick or twist, tomorrow.
Dee has put up another Super Boost but I’m bored of her bullshit boosts now. Plus they don’t make for great content in this feature if I just say I’m backing the offers each day. Any dickhead can do that.
Let’s get this new approach off and running with a winner. I’ve forgotten what that feels like in truth. Folks, if you’ve read this far then please always gamble responsibly and good luck with your investments on today’s matches.
There will be a few rest days from the Euro’s so my intention will be the focus on Wimbledon during that spell. I miss watching the tennis. As a kid coming home from school and just sticking the tennis on for hours on end. When did I become so busy?
I’m ranting.
Bet: Austria v Turkey – Over 25.5 Shots – 0.5pts @ 1.8
