Get the fuck in there!!! What a winner yesterday. Erasmus Top Namibia Bowler copped at odds of 7.5. That was a ridiculous price. It got me thinking back to the days of DRS. Remember him?
He was a bit of a legend here at Betting Kingdom with his cricket tips and the profit he generated. But was he really that good or are the bookmakers just shit at getting their cricket odds right?
I would imagine it was a combination of the two, but given the price we just snapped up, it’s obvious the bookmakers are not spending hours compiling their markets, even on a big event like the T20 World Cup.
It’s taken my total pot from a starting point of £50 to £124.84. Not bad in just 23 bets. My approach to invest 10% of my pot for each stake makes it exciting as the larger my bank balance grows, the bigger the stakes become.
Thus making today’s investment (notice the choice of words there) £12.50. Having only just added Andy Schooler to the website I’ve decided to follow his advice on the French Open semi finals today.
I’ve always struggled to find a really decent tennis tipster to follow consistently but Schooler has been in excellent form with 8 of his last 9 tips winning.
Two more winners yesterday for @SLSport_ at #RolandGarros .
Here’s my look at today’s men’s SFs. Could be two crackers…https://t.co/5KJvIEvVV6

I honestly believe a winning streak like this can help a tipster. Confidence in any walk of life is a really powerful attribute and when you are on a role your mindset is in the right place and you can often produce better selections.
You’ve heard of punters going on tilt and I’m sure that’s the same with tipsters when results are going against them that the selection process goes array. Well hopefully that works in reverse too and that’s a reason I’m following the advice of SportingLife’s tennis tipster today.
I actually wanted to follow him a few days ago when he put up an Aces bet from the Women’s Quarter Final which landed at 9/4. Sadly though the price had been cut to 7/4 by the time I logged into my account.
The tip I’m following today has also seen the line change. Andy Schooler is tipping Under 6.5 Double Faults in the match between Zverev & Ruud. In their 4 most recent meetings the two have combined for just 5 doubles.
Andy’s main reasoning is that neither player is a top returner so the server won’t be forced to come up with big second serves and instead make sure they find the box. This to me seems very good logic and I’m sure the bookies use the tournament stats to create their lines and prices.
The line of 6.5 has now become 7.5, which in turn has the seen the price change from 2.0 to 1.72. I’m not sure if this is better or not? But I’m happy to take those odds and put my trust in one of the form tipsters right now.
Given this is my biggest stake to date on this recent betting journey I’m also a little relieved the price is odds on and not 13/2, knowing full well I’m far more likely to get a return.
Bet: Ruud v Zverev: Under 7.5 Double Faults – 1.25pts – 1.72 (8/11)
