I’m back, after my weekend off. Possibly the first full weekend I’ve had off in 10 years. I always work weekends. I should feel rejuvenated, not cream crackered.
Saturday was due to be my only lie in, but the missus parkrun alarm went off at 7am. We weren’t even doing parkrun this week. If you love parkrun check out my PB Runner You Tube Channel with some local parkrun vlogs.
We then headed to Eastbourne tennis to watch the qualifying matches and I won a few quid placing some in-play bets. The temptation to try some courtsiding was there, but I didn’t want to risk upsetting Dee.
Sunday I ran a half marathon in the morning, so I actually feel worse than I do most Monday’s. Work for me is easier than taking time off. I just slouch in my office chair, do some running coaching and post some shit content like this.
As for my betting, both Super Boosts lost over the weekend which leaves the Best Bets feature pot sitting at £247.47, with a ROI of 43.7%. Track your bets folks. It’s very quick to do and you’ll know where you lie.
So what about Italy v Croatia?. This is paragraph number 6 and it’s taken me that long to mention tonight’s selections. Dee is getting sneaky with the boosts. Italy to score First has been enhanced from 1.71 to 2.37. But I took a peek at oddschecker and that’s doesn’t appear to be the price they first came up with. In fact the supposed 1.73 is much lower than the industry average of 1.91. We are now being tricked.

That said 2.37 looks decent value. Is it “Super” value as they make up. Is it fuck!! I’ve still backed it though. As I’ve said time and time again the Super Boost has been far more profitable for me than any one individual tipster.
The main difference being, because the value is lower than previous offerings, I’ve only invested 1pt, which for me is £10. So the strategy to stake 10% of my total pot is currently on pause.
What I have done is actually spend some time looking for an additional bet. I found one too. I’m following the advice of Jimmy the Punt! He’s put up to Barella to be carded at 3.85. That’s the price at his employees Betfair, but luckily we punters can shop around.
I found a best price of 4.2 and that looks value. In his career Barella has been booked 77 times in 271 Serie A games. That equates to odds of 3.5. That’s the average price across the industry. So taking the top price would appear to offer some decent value.
With the importance of the matches increasing at this stage of the tournament the cards have been mounting up. 27 cautions in the last 5 games. I’m happy to invest another point in this selection.
As always, when allowed, please gamble responsibly. Don’t let Dee and other bookies fool you into thinking their boosts are always Super, they’re not.
