For the first time since 1885, we have a repeat of the previous seasons FA Cup Final as Manchester rivals City & United showdown at Wembley in what looks set to be another one sided affair.
It’s a bit of a mismatch right now between these two giants of the English game with City securing their 4th consecutive Premier League title and United finishing down in 8th place.
The difference in these two sides? 31 Premier League points, 39 Premier League goals scored, 24 Premier League goals conceded. The gulf is huge.

Last seasons FA Cup final went the way of a City with a narrow 2-1 win.
17 of the last 20 FA Cup finals have featured 4 or less goals. 6 of Man City’s last 7 wins in all competitions featured 4 goals or less.
9 of United last 10 defeats saw fewer than 5 goals. The fact their defence will be boosted by the return of Martinez is also good news for the unders line.
City can match United’s record of winning the English Double on 3 occasions and become the first team in history to do it in consecutive seasons. Pretty amazing when you think about it.
