Taking the easy option tonight. I was tempted by Lewis Jones and his recommended bet on Czech goals, but my confidence is low after a string of results have gone against what the experts predicted. Most notably the much fancied Ukraine getting thrashed by Romania.
I’ve hit my first losing run with 6 of my last 7 bets losing. Crikey the annihilation that Afghanistan endured was particularly hard to take, but that’s gambling.
When you’re on a losing run you just need to trust the process and keep the faith that the result will improve. The fact my pot still sits at £167 from £50 with a ROI of 37.18% suggests I am doing something right.
My most profitable approach has been the Super Boosts, especially the ones being offered by our wealthy friend Denise. Ok so she’s hardly a friend and I doubt very much it was here that chose to select this boost, but you get the idea.
They claim the original odds were 1.86 which is probably a little stretch but having boosted right up to 3.0 it’s likely there is some juice in that price.
Emmett O’Keefe was singing the praises of Turkey in the Betfair preview so let’s hope he’s on the right path. Georgia are playing in their first ever major tournament, so that says something about their hopes of qualifying.
I’m on a tight schedule today so I’m just going to leave it at that. Sometimes you don’t need to be clever. Take the gift being offered and move on.
Bet: Turkey to beat Georgia and have the most shots on target – 1.65pts @ 3.0
