Sunday morning I logged onto You Tube to check out the highlights of the Women’s Wimbledon final. I wasn’t really that interested in the outcome but wanted some sport to watch while I ate my pre run breakfast.
The headline of the highlights video “Krejcikova wins title”. Brilliant 🙄
Did they not think that some people are watching the highlights because they don’t already know the outcome of the final? Bellends.
This morning I logged on to watch the highlights from last nights World Matchplay 2nd Round. The game I was interested in was the match I had bet on, Aspinall v Wade. The landing page for the video (what you see when choosing what to watch), was Aspinall celebrating. FFS!! Cheers PDC.
I decided to watch anyway and throughout the highlights of that match I only expected one outcome. Turns out the PDC are not as stupid as Wimbledon when it comes to content creation and Wade actually won. So the landing page was in fact a double bluff. Nice.
That gives me the opportunity to ask the question today. Stick or Twist? Well given my pot sits at £9.15 I think there is only one answer. That’s to twist.
It was JAW Betting that provided the tip and insight on yesterdays winner so I’ve no reason to look elsewhere. He’s backing Rob Cross to beat Ryan Searle and hit the Most 180s.
CROSS WINS A THRILLER! ⚡️

I’m slightly biased towards Cross as he lives in my home town. Even more so, given I tipped him at 70/1 to win the PDC World Championship all those years ago. I was once a decent darts tipster you know.
RAW Betting does what all darts tipsters should do, and what bookies often ignore, and that’s to consider form over the last 2 months, rather than just what we’ve seen in recent matches.
In that spell Cross is averaging 98.05, way ahead of Searle at 93.77.
Cross has averaged 0.27 180s per leg in the past 2 months, Searle just 0.18. They’ve only met once so far this season and this bet landed.
At odds of 2/1 (available at SkyBet) this is a bit more of a gamble than I normally like to take but it would certainly give the pot a nice boost heading into tomorrow’s darts.
Bet: Rob Cross to beat Ryan Searle and Hit the Most 180s – 0.915pts @ 2/1
