Hands up who backed James Wade to hit more 180s than Ross Smith? You lying gits!
I mean seriously what was that about. I’m just glad it was date day. A date day which started loading my girlfriends car with unwanted cardboard and driving to the tip. Who said romance was dead? The day did get better as we strolled along the beach hand in hand at low tide. Living the dream folks.
After that much needed break I’m back with another selection for today’s action. Again from the darts. I have to say I’m not overly excited about this one, the bet that is, not the match. Although I am heading out this evening for some Treasure Hunt nonsense so it will be a case of waiting for the highlights tomorrow to catch up on the outcome.
I’ve backed Rob Cross to average 98 or over. Sean Rafferty or Raffo’s Betting Tips as his Telegram is titled has put this up. He certainly deserves some respect right now having landed Wade at 16/1 to win his Quarter. Very nice.
Raffo or Sean, whatever you want to call him is tipping Rob Cross to average 98 or more. The best price I could find was with Star Sports (decent bookie from my experience to date).
Here’s my preview for Day 7 of #WorldMatchplay for @Betfred
2/1 double tipped up, boosted from 17/10 by traders 👇https://t.co/eECnV6rg1d

The logic here is very simple. Cross is in top form right now. He averaged 106.99 in the last round against Searle. In Round 1 Cross averaged 100.42 in his narrow win over Van Veen.
That makes it 11 of his last 16 matches in Major Tournaments that this bet has landed. Hopefully the fast tempo of his opponent Michael Smith will allow Cross to get in a nice rhythm and play his best darts.
There wasn’t much else I fancied. Dee doesn’t seem to be, or at least is holding back her Super Boosts until nearer the start time.
SkyBet had some bullshit boost about MVG winning and hitting 10+ 180s but I couldn’t work out if that was value or not?
I also saw a boost on Aberg to get within 10 feet in 2 shots on the 2nd hole. How the fuck is this responsible gambling, luring your customers into making impulsive in-play bets. Don’t fall for it folks.
Gilding +5.5 has been tipped a few times as has Cross to win, but the prices don’t really get me excited. Still you never know with this approach to betting that this could be the first bet of a winning streak which makes me a millionaire. We can always dream.
Anyhow, that’s all I’ve got to say today, the heat down here on the South Coast has destroyed me. I’m struggling to function even with my fan on the top setting inches from my face.
Good luck with your bets tonight and Please Gamble Responsibly. None of this Aberg 10 feet bollocks!
