Last week was another good one for the bookies. Especially the South African Open where only a few, including Steve Palmer, predicted Dean Burmester would land back to back titles. He did so at a pretty skinny price.
Scheffler landed the title in the Bahamas, whilst Niemann took the honours in Australia. A few more tipster had backed the Chilean including Michael Golf who continues his remarkable year.
Let’s just consider these stats for a moment. A profit of +1902.64pts and a ROI of 36.29%. Fucking hell.
My first though is always, “so if I bet £10 per point I’d have won £19,000 this year”. If you’re thinking the same then just hold fire because his style of tipping covers all the minor leagues and some big prices.
🏆 Niemann wins at 14/1!!
Incredible how he played 18 in regulation and on both playoff holes!
Credit to Hoshino, he just wouldn't go away!
Herbert finishes solo 7th for a full place at 20/1. https://t.co/OHNRAUUtE7

That means a few things. Firstly the odds availability is likely to be a nightmare. Prices will be cut quickly and when you can get on it’s more likely to be £1 than ten.
Plus if you’re winning that kind of money from a tipster you’re not going to be on the bookmakers xmas card list for long.
That said, take nothing away from the remarkable year that Michael Golf is having. His strategy clearly works and hopefully he’s still able to get some wagers on himself as no doubt his family can expect some pretty lavish gifts in a few weeks time.
As for me. I won **** all last week. Nada. Not a penny. Wiping out all my profit from two weeks earlier when I landed winners on both tours.
I think it’s time for a break from golf betting for me. I just don’t enjoy it anymore. My weekends are ruined by the far too frequent glances at flashscores to see how many over par my selections are for the front 9 on Sunday.
If you do have more patience (and time) than me, then check out the golf tipsters page here at Betting Kingdom. I hope to update the rankings in the new year to reflect tipsters profit for 2023.
No doubt Michael Golf will feature prominently in the Top 10 of those rankings come January. Who’s to say what his profit will be by then.
