Hi. Welcome to the new Betting Kingdom website. I hope you like it. Recent issues with the old platform led me to build this. There are likely to be a few teething problems and tipster results spreadsheets need some work so bear with me.
Betting Kingdom has been a big part of my life for over 15 years now and sadly recent times have been a struggle. It still is. I’m hoping my enthusiasm for sports betting and hard work can turn it round and make it a success again.
I lost my way. I became too fixated with making profits and beating the bookmakers that the fun from gambling was lost. I stopped enjoying sport. I wouldn’t even watch matches anymore and just got obsessed with my ROI and comparing myself to all the other tipsters on Twitter.
The majority of us bet for fun. That’s how it should be. It makes sport and our days more exciting. That said I want to offer good advice that can help us at make a small profit if we bet smart. But ultimately the main aim is now to make the experience of online gambling fun again.
I will be seeking new tipsters to join the competition and won’t be as strict with the rules. That said any tipster who encourages irresponsible gambling through a high volume of tips or poor staking plan will be asked politely to leave. Ensuring you only bet money you can afford to lose is essential and a big reason why I’ve never staked more than £10 per point, even when I was winning a lot.
I hope to offer some content in the blog about how to become a smarter punter. I will be pushing offers, free bets and price boosts more than before. That is purely to try and keep the site financially viable and allow me to reinvest more into the tipster prizes. Yes, part of the income does come from affiliate commission. But I still aim to offer good advice. If users sign up and ignore that advice then ultimately they will lose in the long run.
Ask yourself this. If you do lose, would you rather 30% go to a site like Betting Kingdom that will reinvest it into tipster prizes, or would you rather 100% line the pockets of the millionaires running the bookmakers? So is signing up with an affiliate site so bad?
You can support the site by opening a few new accounts today. Spread the word on social media. Get involved with the tipster competition. Tell your mates. Or even send a donation to a tipster that has won you money.
