I get it! I’m 3 days behind the rest of the golf betting community. But I’ve got other shit going on right now and whilst you don’t need to know about that, it’s a good excuse for my tardiness.
So what the hell has happened. Apparently Mathieu Pavon won at Torrey Pines. I’m mean seriously, what the fuck? How did that happen?
To be fair to the Frenchman he’d been playing some stellar golf for a while now including his DP World Tour win in Madrid last year. He finished with a Top 5 finish in the season ending Tour Championship in Dubai.
Then there was his Top 10 in the Sony Open just a few weeks back. But Torrey Pines! This is a beast of a golf course where true champions shine, so fair play to Pavon for walking off with the title.
Incredible!!! What a win! 🇫🇷
🔥Pavon a 125/1 winner for us 🔥
LET'S GOOOOOOO!

I made the assumption that it was another blank for the golf tipster community. I was wrong. Several tipsters had selected the newly positioned World Number 34 at three figure prices.
Deep Dive Golf who like Pavon continue to enhance their own reputation were on at 125/1. Golf Nutter and Golf Tipster Checker made up the trio who picked this unlikely winner.
Over on the DPWT where we are more used to seeing the Frenchman ply his trade, Thorbjorn Olesen took title number 8 in some style in the Ras Al Khaimah Championship.
This was less of a surprise to the golfing world with a number of tipsters putting up Olesen putting including Liam Cope and Nelson Golf Tips.
I’ll also go back nearly a week to credit Michael Golf for landing a 100/1 winner on Potgieter in the Bahama Great Abaco Classic.
Sorry I’m struggling to keep up to date with the latest golf betting news but if you are a tipster and want some extra promo then just drop me a DM on X whenever you have some winners to share I will be more than happy to give you a plug.
For those hard of luck punters that haven’t landed any of the four big priced winners on the PGA Tour this season, keep the faith, I’m sure your time will come.
