Imagine this for a moment. An individual who had been working in the industry for the past 20 years. Not only the industry but specifically following and tracking tipsters for all that time.
Now take that individual and give him access to all the top tipsters currently online. What would he do?
Well I’m talking about me of course. I’ve been running Betting Kingdom for over 20 years now and for the past 15 of those, tracking, following and reviewing the very best tipsters.
If anyone can spot a good tipster, or a value selection, then surely I’m your man? My website has evolved down the years. From it’s humble beginnings as a betting guide, to the heights of it’s glory days as one of the best tipster competition websites online, to it’s current disguise, a tipster comparison site.
Luckily the majority of the tipsters on this site have given me access to their tips, even the premium tipsters, for which I am always very grateful.
In 2023 I was hopeful I could win quite a bit of money simply by following said tipsters with my own money and I started tracking over 20 at a time.
I refined my list to best suit my own gambling habits, but with my own bookmaker limitations and need to take some time off work, it didn’t prove as fruitful as I initially hoped, especially given the work I was putting in.
I trialled a few different approaches such as “Bet of the Day” and “Rolling Acca”, but neither really worked. That evolved into this latest idea, my “Best Bets” feature. Each day I’ll spend some time listening to podcasts, reading articles and scrolling through the Telegram channels I have access to.
If any bets stand out I’ll share them on the site and credit the tipster who came up with the selection. I wasn’t sure how this would fare as it still relies on my own judgement as to which selections offer the best value and ultimately only backing the odd tip from each tipster.
Two weeks ago, and 87 bets down, I was showing a loss of -1.66pts. But I was confident in the bets I was making and needn’t of worried.
Since that moment the results have been ridiculous. I’ve had the following priced winners, 4.4, 7.0, 3.75, 1.8, 2.75, 3.3 and 8.0. A few of those I had the insight to increase stakes, risking more than the tipster had recommended and on both occasions it paid off.
So my profit after 101 bets stands at a very healthy +30pts and a ROI of 32.8%. This is still a very small sample and I wouldn’t expect to maintain a ROI that high over 1000 bets. But given the approach I am curious about my own ability to spot the very best tips and my judgement to adjust stakes to maximise profit.
It’s kind of an experiment still, one which I will have no qualm at stopping if it proves a failure long term. But so far it’s working well. So ask yourself this, if you knew someone with 20 years of experience in this industry, with access to all the best tipsters, who was hand picking the very best bets, would you follow their advice?
Thank you to all the tipsters so far who I’ve shared tips from. Without their consent this would not be possible.
