Anyone else glad the Euros is over? I’m not even that disappointed at the result last night because there was never really any moment during that tournament that I felt England played well enough to win.
Had we started with Harry Kane on the bench, then perhaps my attitude with have been different. I don’t think I have seen a worse performance from an individual in a final. Clearly he must have been injured, but were that the case, shame on him for not admitting it.
Plus it meant I lost a fiver on the Super Boost.
Dee and Geoff have been very clever today. Whilst us football punters login to our cash strapped accounts to withdraw our final few pennies, they’ve dangled the temptation of yet further Super Boosts to ensure we don’t take a much needed break from gambling, but instead turn our attention to the arrows.
I’m talking about the World Matchplay Darts. It started at the weekend you know. Tonight there are a couple of cracking matches including Michael Smith v Gary Anderson and the blockbuster first round tie between Luke Littler and Michael Van Gerwen.
Here’s my preview for Day 3 of #WorldMatchplay for @Betfred as we enter the final session of the 1st round. Some huge ties tonight!
23/20 double tipped up for tonight as I aim to make it 3/3 from the daily tips so far 👇https://t.co/ibvwxmjDFr

If you fancy a wager on the darts this week then check out some of the tipsters I have highlighted. Chris Hammer is on duty for SportingLife today. Sean Rafferty has landed a well deserved gig writing for Betfred. James Punt continues to provide insight for the TKMarkets, whatever that is.
The Paddy Power blog, Racing Post and Andy’s Bet Club are 3 more platforms that appear to be sharing daily selections on the World Matchplay this year. Although I’m not as familiar with the tipsters they have posting tips.
I was going to following the advice of Chris Hammer and back Littler to beat MVG and to hit the Most 180s. Sounds like a fun bet right at odds of 6/4. That was until I was lured in by Dee.
She’s keeping us hooked by offering yet another Super Boost, this time on the Anderson v Smith clash. We can get 2.5 on there being 1 or more bull finishes. Is this value? I’m not 100% sure but the boosts have still been my most profitable strategy when it comes to ROI. So I’m going to take the punt.
It’s square one because I actually backed the Kane boost yesterday, shame on me. So just the £5 or 0.5pts to invest. No need to ask the stick or twist question, hopefully that will happen tomorrow.
If you get the chance to watch the darts tonight, then enjoy. If you’re having a wager then always gamble responsibly and never go chasing losses.
Bet: Michael Smith v Gary Anderson 1+ Bull Finishes – 0.5pts @ 2.5
