I’ve got a lot of love for Tennis Pilot (James & Nicholas). They were a real feature of the tipster competition some 7 or 8 years ago and their results on here were sensational. That carried through to the early years in their service but I think since post covid there does appear to have been a drop off. I’m not sure why that is but at the time of writing this review their ROI for the past 12 months is -3.5%. That’s disappointing.
I decided to start following after I listened to their interview on the Smart Betting Club Podcast and was really impressed with how James spoke. I was excited to get stuck in but I didn’t get that same level of enthusiasm and expertise that was evident in the podcast, when backing the selections.
I should add I only followed them for a short period and in the end decided to stop at 88 bets as I was losing quite a bit. I finished with a ROI of -29% which obviously isn’t the norm based on their results in the past 12 months, but still disappointing.
Odds availability was an issue and I often found myself taking lower odds than the top price posted. The markets felt very repetitive with Total Games and Tie Breaks a key feature. I’m not sure if James and Nicholas have lost their love for the service or it’s just a rocky spell. But this is one I would pass on personally after my recent experience. I’d like to wish them every success going forward though.
