Ashley Wilkes is a free online golf betting tipster who shares his picks via X. My initial insight on Ashley was a little harsh in hindsight but sometimes we can only react to the information we have at our disposal.

I’m delighted that Ashley contacted me privately to share his full results sheet which isn’t readily available. Looking at the stats I am amazed he doesn’t promote these.

In 2023 he produced a profit of +336.39pts with a 46% ROI. Incredible numbers. Often you see this with golf tipsters who might land one massive winners at three figure odds but that wasn’t the case here with Ashley. There was no 200/1 winner, it was consistent returns.

2024 to date (writing this early October) hasn’t been as lucrative but it has still be profitable with an 11% ROI and over 74pts of profit.

So whilst at first glance his tips might not appear to be worth following, the results now available at my disposal suggest otherwise.

The sensible staking plan is always reassuring to see and whilst there isn’t any insight added to selections, with these results who cares.
