A lot has changed since Jeremy Chapman put up his first winner in the 1972 Open Championship. 50 years on and Chapman is still posting free tips from a variety of tours on the Fitz Dares website.
He’s best known for his many years working with the Racing Post, before the days of the World Wide Web and Twitter. The 2006 Pebble Beach Pro Am was probably his greatest week of tipping landing a 1-2-3 at odds of 33-1, 50/1 and 33/1. Although I think that’s been trumped by Bradley Todd in recent seasons.
Over the years Chapman has also worked for SportingLife, Golf Weekly, Golf Monthly and also more recently the Golf Betting Club. Sadly there are no profit or loss statistics at hand.
