Firstly I would be very careful about a lot of the positive reviews. These were for a competition where you got 6 months free if you left a 5 star review.
As others have said I also had queries about the P&L. If part of a double was void he would not include the bet in his numbers if the other part lost whilst including it in a number of occasions when it won. My P&L of bets was frequently different to his and there is nowhere to view an actual list of results on his page which is very poor and suspicious. .
Everything negative that happens is down to variance. Never to do with poor selections and there are definitely a number of those. He definitely thinks hes far better than he is.
Finally, if you do sign up be very careful when you cancel. I cancelled quite far in advance of my renewal and assumed that would be the end of it. Only later on did I notice that the payment was still taken and he refused to return it as I didn’t notice straight away.

Having been in the group for some time, it has become clear that Kris alters his P&L. He edits his bets and alters the units, depending on whether the bet wins or loses. This is also reflected in his P&L. I can only assume he has done this since the beginning and as such it is clear as to why he is profitable for so long.

Particularly in the last couple of months, results have been dreadful, and yet he is still using these sly tactics.

He has also encouraged people to leave reviews on this website in return for the opportunity to win a free 6 months in his group. This was promised a couple of months ago and he has still not made the draw to give the prize away.

Overall I feel his is dishonest to his followers, and if you check through Twitter he has had numerous spats with people.

Kris is the best football tipster I’ve used, by a long way. He consistently finds value and really goes the extra mile to show why his bets are solid. His communication is top notch and if you’ve ever got a query, he responds quickly. Couldn’t ask for more!

I’ve been following Kris for a while now, I’d imagine well over a year.
He’s varied his markets a little this season and added more player props but focuses on quite niche markets for this in South America and Asia. Prices have held well for these markets.
Volume is reasonable without being excessive which works well for me as I follow multiple tipsters. The markets Kris targets compliment the other tipsters I also follow which is a good positive for me.
I’m very pleased following Kris and will continue to be a long term follower.

Steer well clear of this guy for a number of reasons. Firstly – and most importantly, he’s incentivising members to leave positive reviews on this site, suggesting they can win money and memberships by giving him positive 5* reviews – immediate red flag.

Secondly, doing some digging on his betting history I discovered that he’s involved in numerous spats with various tipsters over stealing their tips and reasoning before passing them off as his own. I joined the group to discover this is absolutely correct and around half of his bets have already been published elsewhere by high-profile tipsters. Fraudulent.

Finally, his demeanour is infuriating. Hes incredibly condescending and patronising to punters, never taking responsibility and blaming any losing bet on variance. He’ll sing when he’s won a bet but rarely acknowledges the losers – as his social profile proves. And his idea of value is laughable given some of the explanations on his bets. Avoid.

I’ve been following Kris for 6 months now. In that time he’s started targeting player props rather than predominantly goal line bets and in doing so has been finding excellent value. Most bets are on bet365 and despite taking early prices in some less popular leagues I’ve had no indication of any restrictions coming around on my account (and I’ve been restricted for a lot less with other bookmakers). The level of research is quality and bet reasoning always well articulated. As with any tipster there are slow weeks and tough days however if you’re in this to play the long game and are disciplined with your staking plan long term profits are more or less guaranteed. Final point is the number of bets a week is fairly consistent and usually sent out in batches meaning it’s easy to get on everything that’s tipped.
Above all Kris is a lovely guy who comes across very genuine. Very approachable and responsive to messages.

Having been with a few tipsters over the past couple of years, Kris is certainly one of the best.

It’s clear he spends a lot of time on his tips, and gives an extensive write up on each bet.

Kris tips player props and occasionally goals overs.

He is also very easy to contact via Twitter and replies very quickly.

Overall a top tipster and well worth giving him a go for long term profit

I’ve been using Kris for a year now, and I will definitely be continuing to use him in the long term. You get around 15 tips a week, all year round, so it is not too onerous in terms of placing bets and you don’t have any quiet periods during the summer as he meticulously researches the lesser-known leagues in Scandanavia. All bets have a thorough write up with backing statistics, so you know you’re in good hands and it’s just just a hopeful punt. I’ve generally had no problem getting the advised odds, averaging around 98% of the suggested price. For those who prefer using Bet365 only, he does give alternative tips using that bookie, which is a great feature.

Most importantly, long-term profits are very evident. Kris tends to go for around evens odds on average with his tips (mostly via bet builders), so the aim is to keep the strike rate above 50%, which given the clear value of the bets is consistently achieved. There’s only been one really bad month in the past year, but I don’t think any tipster can offer 100% winning months. But this service is as close as you can get.

It’s not a get rich quick service, but the regular profits all add up noticably, and following the games has been rather fun too.

Not recommended. I’ve followed Kris on and off last year, but re-joined the premium at the end of November.
I tracked December at -47u and so far January is -10u. Profitability is one area that I’ve marked Kris down on, but it’s the way this has gone that adds to it.

There are several areas which I didn’t enjoy –

P&L irregularities – I soon spotted that there were differences in my P&L to Kris’s. When I looked into this further I spotted that stakes for winning bets were increased on a couple of occasions. I contacted Kris and was told that someone else does the P&L and he will fix it. I didn’t check the whole month but this wasn’t a good look.

Tracking boosts – Kris tracks boosts in his P&L. This is unusual and unlike most tipsters. A boost is a sportsbook promotion, not a market price.

Always taking best price –
This one is up to Kris, but because of the way the betting is structured (very early prices and going for early value) Kris will shop around and post the best possible price. Fair enough to do this, but many don’t and it makes the P&L unachievable for most.

Early value is not good for sportsbook –
Taking so much early value is not great for your account, so I’d caution against this

‘Super safe banker bets’ – during December Kris posted some ‘super safe banker bets’ involving selections at very low prices in an acca. Again this is up to Kris, but feels muggy on the research side.

Switching strategy – when i trialled in November, selections were pretty consistent on the goal line in lower leagues. After December went badly, Kris started adding in shot markets, including on small markets where it was difficult to follow away from B365. Again this is up to Kris, but highlights that he’s unsettled with his own approach and trying desperately to find a winner rather than sticking to strategy. He also claims to be influenced by followers, which can’t be a good thing.

Overall – not one i’d recommend.

Kris is one of the most honest, down to earth people in the business. A lot of people are in this game to just maximise profits and boast about their numbers – Kris however, Genuinely cares about his customers and their is definitely a sense of “we are in this together”.

As well as obviously running an incredibly successful service – Kris puts so much time into helping his community and treats us like a family rather than just customers.

The Stats from Kris speak for themselves and my original thought process when signing up was essentially – “if I’m gonna be profitable, then why not choose a service where I can get the added bonus of feeling like someone has got my back?”

I’ve followed Kris from the very start and it didn’t take long to realise that sticking with him long term would bring me extra cash. 357 units profit in 21 months and 20 profitable months out of 21 tells its own story. Consistent and solid as a rock. Subscription is worth every penny! I’m about £6200 up in 21 months after placing £15-£25 a unit for bets.

Does everything a 5 star tipster should. Constantly beats the closing line and finds value every week, without fail. Doesn’t just post bets, he regularly gives out advice on how to be successful in betting over the long term. The amount of work he puts in, he could charge double! Seriously, nothing but immense praise for what he does. Recommend!

I subscribed to Kris Jones at the start of the year and haven’t been disappointed. I’ve turned a nice little profit in that time which has helped part-fund my flat refurb and a couple of beers at the footy 😉.

Kris’ lack of volume was listed as a negative but personally I see that as a positive. I look for quality over quantity and don’t have the time to post dozens of bets anyway. His long descriptions reassure me that all the research has been done, and more often than not he’s right.

I have been following Kris since his first tipping days and I am now sure that I have a crystal clear opinion of him. I like the fact that most of his tips are dealing with not so fancy championships, like the Scottish or the Scandinavian ones. His transparent P/L status is updated right away and his tips are rather easy to follow. Furthermore, Kris is very friendly and helpful; he will reply in details to any question that comes up. Truly, one of his kind..

KJ Tips is the second paid tipster service I have used, and he certainly puts the work in. I will be honest and say that I sometimes do not know the leagues he selects at all, but his stats and depth of explanation means I feel confident with each bet placed. I am well in profit which is great after several months, so when there are short (and relatively rare) periods of indifferent form I feel comfortable following the tried and tested system KJ tips promote.
