Richard Mann is a free online cricket betting tipster who posts picks for SportingLife and features on the Betfair Cricket Only Bettor Podcast.

Those are two of the biggest and best free betting platforms, so if you’re working for those guys, you come with a decent reputation.

Sadly for us, neither seem to provide us with profit or loss stats for Richard. SportingLife have a tipping record section but you have to work your way through the results to try and get a gauge of the profit & loss from all their tips.

At the time of posting this profile in July 2024, SportingLife cricket tips had made a loss of -17.5pts for the year. Richard is their go to cricket tipster but I can’t be sure he was responsible for all of those tips.

I’ve listened to the Betfair Cricket Podcast loads of times and I’d go as far as saying it’s one of the most informative sports betting shows available. The expertise is great and many times I’ve landed some big winners based on their advice.

But my approach has always been to listen to all the different opinions and pick my own selections based on their knowledge. Given the lack of firm P/L for a tipster like Richard Mann, that might be the best approach if you do want to follow his free cricket betting tips.

Many moons ago SportingLife ensured me they were working on displaying the profit or loss for all their tipsters. It’s still yet to happen, so I can assume the majority of them are not returning a profit. A harsh assumption and one, in time, I hope that SportingLife can prove is simply not true.
