I’ve been betting on golf for 25 years and never once have I followed Steve Rawling’s selections. I think that says a lot. That’s not to make judgement on his ability to find value, but more an insight on his approach. He’s excellent at what he does, his previews and in-play blogs offer great detail on the event and provide punters with a wealth of information to help them pick a winner.
But the problem lies that Steve has chosen to never display his profit/loss. Without that it’s very difficult to follow his selections over the vast list of alternative golf tipsters promoting big profits and ROI.
I followed briefly and decided to stop as I my portfolio included too many golf tipsters. Steve has landed some big winners this season and I’m sure his returns are healthy, but who’s to say what past seasons have returned? The fact there is no staking plan either left me a little bewildered. Selections varied in price and I was left guessing as to how much I should be investing. The other major issue was that the odds available when I placed my bets were always lower than what Steve quoted.
I think the likelihood is if you followed Steve you’d probably do well, but without having that information to hand, it’s difficult to get started and give him preference other the tipsters who do track their results and do have a staking plan.
